Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

To generate your soul reading, Soul Reader collects only:

• Your full name
• Your date of birth
• Your time of birth (optional)
• Your place of birth
• Your email address (for subscription management)

We do not collect information about your health, religious beliefs, ethnicity, or political opinions.

2. How we use your data

Your birth data is used only to:

• Calculate your profile through a cross-reading of multiple symbolic disciplines
• Generate your personalized reading

We never sell your data to third parties. We don't share it with advertisers.

3. Data retention

Your birth data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is erased immediately and permanently.

Natal chart readings (Natal Silver and Natal Gold): retained as long as your account is active — they constitute your permanent access.

Other readings (transits, synastry, monthly guidance, etc.): retained for a maximum of 12 months, then automatically deleted.

4. Security

All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted (TLS/SSL). Your data is stored on a secure, certified cloud infrastructure. Third-party service credentials are exclusively server-side — never exposed in your browser.

5. Artificial intelligence

Your birth data is transmitted to large language models provided by certified third-party vendors to generate your reading. These transmissions are encrypted. Your data is not used to train these models. The full list of AI providers involved is available upon request at privacy@soulreader.app.

6. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Soul Reader never stores your credit card information. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, PIPEDA, and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data
• Object to data processing

7b. Law 25 (Quebec)

In accordance with Quebec's Law 25 (An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information), you have the right to the immediate and permanent deletion of your personal data.

Deleting your account results in the immediate and irreversible deletion of all your data. You may export your data before deletion via the My Profile section.

Soul Reader records the date and version of your consent to satisfy Law 25 consent traceability requirements.

8. Target audience

Soul Reader is intended for users 18 years of age and older. If you are under 18, please obtain parental consent before using this service.

Soul Reader readings are for recreational and personal development purposes only. They do not constitute professional medical, psychological, or legal advice.

9. Cookies

Soul Reader uses only essential functional cookies required for the application to work (session, authentication). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

10. Data Processors

Soul Reader uses third-party processors for the following categories of processing:

• Secure data storage — account and readings (SOC 2 certified infrastructure)
• AI reading generation — certified large language model providers (birth data transmitted encrypted, not used for training)
• Payment processing — Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
• Application hosting — certified cloud infrastructure
